December 11, 2001 Uganda Marine Achieves ISO-certification.
Uganda Marine Products Limited became the first company in East Africa to be certified with the latest international standard ISO 9001:2000. Certificate Number 900537Q.
Prof. Rugumayo, the Honourable Minister of Uganda for Trade Commerce and Industry, presented the certificate to the company, at a grand ceremony held on December 11, 2001.
While expressing his delight at the presentation ceremony, Mr. Yogesh Grover, the Director and C.E.O. of Uganda Marine Products Ltd., said that it was a dream come true. The achievement was made possible with the ardent and relentless efforts of the senior management and the support of the Directors.
